Govt. of Madhya Pradesh has conceived the State Wide Area Network (MPSWAN), to give an impetus to e-Government initiatives in the State, through use of Information and Communication Technologies. As a part of this Project, There are tentatively 51 Numbers of State Government Departments, 09 Public enterprises and 41 Organizations in Madhya Pradesh and which may use SWAN for their e-Governance projects. Ultimately connecting all the Government offices. The Departments will be connected using Point to Multipoint Wireless Systems.

SWAN ENABLES
Make payments to government from anywhere, to any department, at any time.
Get updated information from about market prices across the state, about Government schemes, application forms, notifications, processes, status of applications/complaints etc.
Get entitlements like certificates, copies of appropriate documents, pensions, etc.
Get all benefits from Government through a transparent selection process.
